Boutique Hotel in the Carpathians

A boutique hotel of 24 rooms in the Carpathians: panoramic windows in timber frames open onto the forest and mountains, and the furniture picks up this natural theme. The principal material is ash (solid and veneer) with a delicate patina; the tones are deliberately varied — from cool smoky greys to warm honey shades — so each room has a character of its own. Above the headboards are full-height veneer panels with carefully matched figure, and the beds stand on low timber platforms with built-in bedside units. For storage there are tall built-in wardrobes, comfortable and capacious, with fronts made of perfectly matched veneer and carcasses fitted with ergonomic shelves, rails and pull-out systems for the optimal arrangement of clothes. The restrained design of the reception underlines the natural character of the hotel's whole interior, demonstrating a complex yet elegant solution for the desk in solid ash and ash veneer. The refinement of its design is set off by a slatted wall panel made of the same materials in a different finish.
